وَاِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَاَمْنًاۗ وَاتَّخِذُوْا مِنْ مَّقَامِ اِبْرٰهٖمَ مُصَلًّىۗ وَعَهِدْنَآ اِلٰٓى اِبْرٰهٖمَ وَاِسْمٰعِيْلَ اَنْ طَهِّرَا بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّاۤىِٕفِيْنَ وَالْعٰكِفِيْنَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُوْدِ ( البقرة: ١٢٥ )
veiẕ ce`alne-lbeyte meŝâbetel linnâsi veemnâ. vetteḫiẕû mim meḳâmi ibrâhîme müṣallâ. ve`ahidnâ ilâ ibrâhîme veismâ`île en ṭahhirâ beytiye liṭṭâifîne vel`âkifîne verrukke`i-ssücûd. (al-Baq̈arah 2:125)
Diyanet Isleri:
Kabeyi, insanlar için toplanma ve güven yeri kılmıştık. İbrahim'in makamını namaz yeri edinin, dedik. Evimi ziyaret edenler, kendini ibadete verenler, rüku ve secde edenler için temiz tutun diye İbrahim ve İsmail'e ahd verdik.
English Sahih:
And [mention] when We made the House [i.e., the Ka’bah] a place of return for the people and [a place of] security. And take, [O believers], from the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer. And We charged Abraham and Ishmael, [saying], "Purify My House for those who perform ‹Tawaf and those who are staying [there] for worship and those who bow and prostrate [in prayer]." ([2] Al-Baqarah : 125)
