وَكَذٰلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لِّيَقُوْلُوْٓا اَهٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ مَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِّنْۢ بَيْنِنَاۗ اَلَيْسَ اللّٰهُ بِاَعْلَمَ بِالشّٰكِرِيْنَ ( الأنعام: ٥٣ )
Wa kazaalika fatannaa ba'dahum biba'dil liyaqoolooo ahaaa'ulaaa'i mannal laahu 'alaihim mim baininaa; alaisal laahu bi-a'lama bish shaakireen (al-ʾAnʿām 6:53)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
(நபியே!) இவ்வாறே அவர்களில் சிலரை சிலரைக் கொண்டு நாம் சோதித்ததில் "எங்களை விட்டு (ஏழைகளாகிய) இவர்கள் மீதா அல்லாஹ் அருள் புரிந்துவிட்டான்?" என்று (பணக்காரர்கள்) கூற முற்பட்டனர். நன்றி செலுத்துபவர்களை அல்லாஹ் மிக அறிந்தவனாக இல்லையா?
English Sahih:
And thus We have tried some of them through others that they [i.e., the disbelievers] might say, "Is it these whom Allah has favored among us?" Is not Allah most knowing of those who are grateful? ([6] Al-An'am : 53)
