وَلَوْ اَنَّ لِلَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا مَا فِى الْاَرْضِ جَمِيْعًا وَّمِثْلَهٗ مَعَهٗ لَافْتَدَوْا بِهٖ مِنْ سُوْۤءِ الْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِۗ وَبَدَا لَهُمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ مَا لَمْ يَكُوْنُوْا يَحْتَسِبُوْنَ ( الزمر: ٤٧ )
Wa law anna lillazeena zalamoo maa fil ardi jamee'anw wa mislahoo ma'ahoo laftadaw bihee min sooo'il azaabi Yawmal Qiyaamah; wa badaa lahum minal laahi maa lam yakkoonoo yahtasiboon (az-Zumar 39:47)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
(நபியே!) அநியாயம் செய்தவர்களுக்குப் பூமியிலுள்ள அனைத்துமே சொந்தமாக இருந்து, அத்துடன் அதைப் போன்றதொரு பாகமும் இருந்தபோதிலும் மறுமையின் கொடிய வேதனையிலிருந்து அவர்கள் தப்பித்துக்கொள்ள அவை அனைத்தையுமே பரிகாரமாகக் கொடுத்துவிடவே நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் விரும்புவார்கள். (எனினும், அது ஆகக்கூடியதல்ல) அன்றி, அவர்கள் எதிர்பார்க்காததெல்லாம் அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு வெளியாகும்.
English Sahih:
And if those who did wrong had all that is in the earth entirely and the like of it with it, they would [attempt to] ransom themselves thereby from the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection. And there will appear to them from Allah that which they had not taken into account. ([39] Az-Zumar : 47)

மேலும், அநியாயம் செய்தவர்களிடம் பூமியிலுள்ளயாவும், அத்துடன் அது போன்றதும் இருக்குமானாலும் நிச்சயமாக கியாம நாளின் கொடிய வேதனைக்கு (அதிலிருந்து விடுதலை பெற அவையனைத்தையுமே) ஈடாகக் கொடுத்துவி(ட நா)டுவார்கள்; மேலும், அவர்கள் எண்ணிப் பார்த்திராதவையெல்லாம் அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு (வேதனையாக) வெளியாகும்.
