وَيَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مَا لَا يَنْفَعُهُمْ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمْۗ وَكَانَ الْكَافِرُ عَلٰى رَبِّهٖ ظَهِيْرًا ( الفرقان: ٥٥ )
But they worship
وَيَعْبُدُونَ
அவர்கள் வணங்குகின்றனர்
besides Allah besides Allah besides Allah
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ
அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி
what not profits them not profits them
مَا لَا يَنفَعُهُمْ
அவர்களுக்கு நற்பலனளிக்காதவற்றை
and not
وَلَا
இன்னும் தீங்கிழைக்காதவற்றை
harms them
يَضُرُّهُمْۗ
இன்னும் தீங்கிழைக்காதவற்றை அவர்களுக்கு
and is
وَكَانَ
இருக்கிறான்
the disbeliever
ٱلْكَافِرُ
நிராகரிப்பாளன்
against
عَلَىٰ
எதிராக
his Lord
رَبِّهِۦ
தன் இறைவனுக்கு
a helper
ظَهِيرًا
உதவக்கூடியவனாக
Wa ya'budoona min doonil laahi maa laa yanfa'uhum wa laa yadurruhum; wa kaanal kaafiru 'alaa Rabbihee zaheeraa (al-Furq̈ān 25:55)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
இவ்வாறிருந்தும் அவர்களோ தங்களுக்கு யாதொரு நன்மையும், தீமையும் செய்ய சக்தியற்ற அல்லாஹ் அல்லாத வைகளை வணங்குகின்றனர். இந்நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் தங்கள் இறைவனுக்கே விரோதமாக இருக்கின்றனர்.
English Sahih:
But they worship rather than Allah that which does not benefit them or harm them, and the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan]. ([25] Al-Furqan : 55)
