وَلَا تَقُوْلُوْا لِمَنْ يُّقْتَلُ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ اَمْوَاتٌ ۗ بَلْ اَحْيَاۤءٌ وَّلٰكِنْ لَّا تَشْعُرُوْنَ ( البقرة: ١٥٤ )
And (do) not say
وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟
இன்னும் கூறாதீர்கள்
for (the ones) who
لِمَن
எவரை
are slain
يُقْتَلُ
கொல்லப்படுவார்கள்
in (the) way
فِى سَبِيلِ
பாதையில்
(of) Allah
ٱللَّهِ
அல்லாஹ்வுடைய
"(They are) dead
أَمْوَٰتٌۢۚ
இறந்தவர்கள்
Nay
بَلْ
மாறாக
(they are) alive
أَحْيَآءٌ
உயிருள்ளவர்கள்
[and] but
وَلَٰكِن
எனினும்
you (do) not perceive
لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ
அறிய மாட்டீர்கள்
Wa laa taqooloo limai yuqtalu fee sabeelil laahi amwaat; bal ahyaaa'unw wa laakil laa tash'uroon (al-Baq̈arah 2:154)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
அன்றி, அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையில் போர் புரிந்து (எதிரி களால்) வெட்டப்பட்டவர்களை இறந்தவர்கள் எனக் கூறாதீர்கள். மாறாக, (அவர்கள்) உயிரோடு இருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் (அதை) நீங்கள் உணர்ந்துகொள்ள மாட்டீர்கள்.
English Sahih:
And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not. ([2] Al-Baqarah : 154)
