ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمُ اسْتَحَبُّوا الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الْاٰخِرَةِۙ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ ( النحل: ١٠٧ )
That (is)
ذَٰلِكَ
அது
because
بِأَنَّهُمُ
காரணம்/நிச்சயமாகஅவர்கள்
they preferred
ٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟
விரும்பினார்கள்
the life
ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ
வாழ்வை
(of) the world
ٱلدُّنْيَا
உலகம்
over the Hereafter
عَلَى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
மறுமையை விட
and that
وَأَنَّ
இன்னும் நிச்சயமாக
Allah
ٱللَّهَ
அல்லாஹ்
(does) not guide
لَا يَهْدِى
நேர்வழி செலுத்த மாட்டான்
the people
ٱلْقَوْمَ
மக்களை
the disbelievers
ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
நிராகரிக்கின்றவர்கள்
Zaalika bi annahumus tahabbul hayaatad dunyaa 'alal Aakhirati wa annal laaha laa yahdil qawmal kaafireen (an-Naḥl 16:107)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
ஏனென்றால், நிச்சயமாக இவர்கள் மறுமையைவிட இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையின் மீதுதான் நேசம் கொண்டார்கள். நிச்சயமாக, நிராகரிக்கும் இத்தகைய மக்களை அல்லாஹ் நேரான வழியில் செலுத்தமாட்டான்.
English Sahih:
That is because they preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. ([16] An-Nahl : 107)
