فَعَقَرُوا النَّاقَةَ وَعَتَوْا عَنْ اَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ وَقَالُوْا يٰصٰلِحُ ائْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ ( الأعراف: ٧٧ )
Then they hamstrung
فَعَقَرُوا۟
पस उन्होंने कूँचें काट डालीं
the she-camel
ٱلنَّاقَةَ
ऊँटनी की
and (were) insolent
وَعَتَوْا۟
और उन्होंने सरकशी की
towards
عَنْ
हुक्म से
(the) command
أَمْرِ
हुक्म से
(of) their Lord
رَبِّهِمْ
अपने रब के
and they said
وَقَالُوا۟
और उन्होंने कहा
"O Salih!
يَٰصَٰلِحُ
ऐ सालेह
Bring us
ٱئْتِنَا
ले आ हमारे पास
what
بِمَا
जिसकी
you promise us
تَعِدُنَآ
तू धमकी देता है हमें
if
إِن
अगर
you are
كُنتَ
है तू
of
مِنَ
रसूलों में से
the Messengers"
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
रसूलों में से
Fa'aqaroo alnnaqata wa'ataw 'an amri rabbihim waqaloo ya salihu itina bima ta'iduna in kunta mina almursaleena (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:77)

फिर उन्होंने उस ऊँटनी की कूचें काट दीं और अपने रब के आदेश की अवहेलना की और बोले, 'ऐ सालेह! हमें तू जिस चीज़ की धमकी देता है, उसे हमपर ले आ, यदि तू वास्तव में रसूलों में से है।'
English Sahih:
So they hamstrung the she-camel and were insolent toward the command of their Lord and said, "O Saleh, bring us what you promise us, if you should be of the messengers." ([7] Al-A'raf : 77)
