وَلَمَّا سُقِطَ فِيْٓ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَرَاَوْا اَنَّهُمْ قَدْ ضَلُّوْاۙ قَالُوْا لَىِٕنْ لَّمْ يَرْحَمْنَا رَبُّنَا وَيَغْفِرْ لَنَا لَنَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْخٰسِرِيْنَ ( الأعراف: ١٤٩ )
And when
وَلَمَّا
और जब
(it was made to) fall
سُقِطَ
वो गिराए गए
into
فِىٓ
अपने हाथों में (नादिम हुए)
their hands
أَيْدِيهِمْ
अपने हाथों में (नादिम हुए)
and they saw
وَرَأَوْا۟
और उन्होंने देखा
that they
أَنَّهُمْ
कि बेशक वो
(had) indeed
قَدْ
तहक़ीक़
gone astray
ضَلُّوا۟
वो भटक गए हैं
they said
قَالُوا۟
वो कहने लगे
"If
لَئِن
यक़ीनन अगर
not
لَّمْ
ना
has Mercy on us
يَرْحَمْنَا
रहम किया हम पर
Our Lord
رَبُّنَا
हमारे रब ने
and forgive
وَيَغْفِرْ
और (ना) उसने बख़्शिश फ़रमाई
[for] us
لَنَا
हमारी
we will surely be
لَنَكُونَنَّ
अलबत्ता हम ज़रूर हो जाऐंगे
among
مِنَ
ख़सारा पाने वालों में से
the losers"
ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ
ख़सारा पाने वालों में से
Walamma suqita fee aydeehim waraaw annahum qad dalloo qaloo lain lam yarhamna rabbuna wayaghfir lana lanakoonanna mina alkhasireena (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:149)

और जब (चेताबनी से) उन्हें पश्चाताप हुआ और उन्होंने देख लिया कि वास्तव में वे भटक गए हैं तो कहने लगे, 'यदि हमारे रब ने हमपर दया न की और उसने हमें क्षमा न किया तो हम घाटे में पड़ जाएँगे!'
English Sahih:
And when regret overcame them and they saw that they had gone astray, they said, "If our Lord does not have mercy upon us and forgive us, we will surely be among the losers." ([7] Al-A'raf : 149)
