وَكَذٰلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لِّيَقُوْلُوْٓا اَهٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ مَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِّنْۢ بَيْنِنَاۗ اَلَيْسَ اللّٰهُ بِاَعْلَمَ بِالشّٰكِرِيْنَ ( الأنعام: ٥٣ )
And thus
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
और इसी तरह
We try
فَتَنَّا
आज़माया हमने
some of them
بَعْضَهُم
उनके बाज़ को
with others
بِبَعْضٍ
साथ बाज़ के
that they say
لِّيَقُولُوٓا۟
ताकि वो कहें
"Are these
أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
क्या ये हैं वो लोग
(whom has been) favored
مَنَّ
एहसान किया
(by) Allah
ٱللَّهُ
अल्लाह ने
[upon them]
عَلَيْهِم
जिन पर
from
مِّنۢ
हमारे दर्मियान में से
among us?"
بَيْنِنَآۗ
हमारे दर्मियान में से
is not
أَلَيْسَ
क्या नहीं है
Allah
ٱللَّهُ
अल्लाह
most knowing
بِأَعْلَمَ
ख़ूब जानने वाला
of those who are grateful?
بِٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
शुक्र करने वालों को
Wakathalika fatanna ba'dahum biba'din liyaqooloo ahaolai manna Allahu 'alayhim min baynina alaysa Allahu bia'lama bialshshakireena (al-ʾAnʿām 6:53)

और इसी प्रकार हमने इनमें से एक को दूसरे के द्वारा आज़माइश में डाला, ताकि वे कहें, 'क्या यही वे लोग है, जिनपर अल्लाह न हममें से चुनकर एहसान किया है ?' - क्या अल्लाह कृतज्ञ लोगों से भली-भाँति परिचित नहीं है?
English Sahih:
And thus We have tried some of them through others that they [i.e., the disbelievers] might say, "Is it these whom Allah has favored among us?" Is not Allah most knowing of those who are grateful? ([6] Al-An'am : 53)
