اِنَّمَا يُرِيْدُ الشَّيْطٰنُ اَنْ يُّوْقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاۤءَ فِى الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللّٰهِ وَعَنِ الصَّلٰوةِ فَهَلْ اَنْتُمْ مُّنْتَهُوْنَ ( المائدة: ٩١ )
Innama yureedu alshshaytanu an yooqi'a baynakumu al'adawata waalbaghdaa fee alkhamri waalmaysiri wayasuddakum 'an thikri Allahi wa'ani alssalati fahal antum muntahoona (al-Māʾidah 5:91)

शैतान तो बस यही चाहता है कि शराब और जुए के द्वारा तुम्हारे बीच शत्रुता और द्वेष पैदा कर दे और तुम्हें अल्लाह की याद से और नमाज़ से रोक दे, तो क्या तुम बाज़ न आओगे?
English Sahih:
Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. So will you not desist? ([5] Al-Ma'idah : 91)
