يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا شَهَادَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ اِذَا حَضَرَ اَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ حِيْنَ الْوَصِيَّةِ اثْنٰنِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنْكُمْ اَوْ اٰخَرٰنِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ اِنْ اَنْتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِى الْاَرْضِ فَاَصَابَتْكُمْ مُّصِيْبَةُ الْمَوْتِۗ تَحْبِسُوْنَهُمَا مِنْۢ بَعْدِ الصَّلٰوةِ فَيُقْسِمٰنِ بِاللّٰهِ اِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ لَا نَشْتَرِيْ بِهٖ ثَمَنًا وَّلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبٰىۙ وَلَا نَكْتُمُ شَهَادَةَ اللّٰهِ اِنَّآ اِذًا لَّمِنَ الْاٰثِمِيْنَ ( المائدة: ١٠٦ )
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo shahadatu baynikum itha hadara ahadakumu almawtu heena alwasiyyati ithnani thawa 'adlin minkum aw akharani min ghayrikum in antum darabtum fee alardi faasabatkum museebatu almawti tahbisoonahuma min ba'di alssalati fayuqsimani biAllahi ini irtabtum la nashtaree bihi thamanan walaw kana tha qurba wala naktumu shahadata Allahi inna ithan lamina alathimeena (al-Māʾidah 5:106)

ऐ ईमान लानेवालों! जब तुममें से किसी की मृत्यु का समय आ जाए तो वसीयत के समय तुममें से दो न्यायप्रिय व्यक्ति गवाह हों, या तुम्हारे ग़ैर लोगों में से दूसरे दो व्यक्ति गवाह बन जाएँ, यह उस समय कि यदि तुम कहीं सफ़र में गए हो और मृत्यु तुमपर आ पहुँचे। यदि तुम्हें कोई सन्देह हो तो नमाज़ के पश्चात उन दोनों को रोक लो, फिर वे दोनों अल्लाह की क़समें खाएँ कि 'हम इसके बदले कोई मूल्य स्वीकार करनेवाले नहीं हैं चाहे कोई नातेदार ही क्यों न हो और न हम अल्लाह की गवाही छिपाते है। निस्सन्देह ऐसा किया तो हम गुनाहगार ठहरेंगे।'
English Sahih:
O you who have believed, testimony [should be taken] among you when death approaches one of you at the time of bequest – [that of] two just men from among you or two others from outside if you are traveling through the land and the disaster of death should strike you. Detain them after the prayer and let them both swear by Allah if you doubt [their testimony, saying], "We will not exchange it [i.e., our oath] for a price [i.e., worldly gain], even if he should be a near relative, and we will not withhold the testimony of [i.e., ordained by] Allah. Indeed, we would then be of the sinful." ([5] Al-Ma'idah : 106)

ऐ ईमान वालों जब तुममें से किसी (के सर) पर मौत खड़ी हो तो वसीयत के वक्त तुम (मोमिन) में से दो आदिलों की गवाही होनी ज़रुरी है और जब तुम इत्तेफाक़न कहीं का सफर करो और (सफर ही में) तुमको मौत की मुसीबत का सामना हो तो (भी) दो गवाह ग़ैर (मोमिन) सही (और) अगर तुम्हें शक़ हो तो उन दोनों को नमाज़ के बाद रोक लो फिर वह दोनों ख़ुदा की क़सम खाएँ कि हम इस (गवाही) के (ऐवज़ कुछ दाम नहीं लेंगे अगरचे हम जिसकी गवाही देते हैं हमारा अज़ीज़ ही क्यों न) हो और हम खुदा लगती गवाही न छुपाएँगे अगर ऐसा करें तो हम बेशक गुनाहगार हैं
