وَمَا نُرِيْهِمْ مِّنْ اٰيَةٍ اِلَّا هِيَ اَكْبَرُ مِنْ اُخْتِهَاۗ وَاَخَذْنٰهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُوْنَ ( الزخرف: ٤٨ )
And not
وَمَا
और नहीं
We showed them
نُرِيهِم
हम दिखाते उन्हें
of
مِّنْ
कोई निशानी
a Sign
ءَايَةٍ
कोई निशानी
but
إِلَّا
मगर
it
هِىَ
वो
(was) greater
أَكْبَرُ
ज़्यादा बड़ी होती थी
than
مِنْ
अपनी जैसी से
its sister
أُخْتِهَاۖ
अपनी जैसी से
and We seized them
وَأَخَذْنَٰهُم
और पकड़ लिया हमने उन्हें
with the punishment
بِٱلْعَذَابِ
साथ अज़ाब के
so that they may
لَعَلَّهُمْ
ताकि वो
return
يَرْجِعُونَ
वो लौट आऐं
Wama nureehim min ayatin illa hiya akbaru min okhtiha waakhathnahum bial'athabi la'allahum yarji'oona (az-Zukhruf 43:48)

और हम उन्हें जो निशानी भी दिखाते वह अपने प्रकार की पहली निशानी से बढ़-चढ़कर होती और हमने उन्हें यातना से ग्रस्त कर लिया, ताकि वे रुजू करें
English Sahih:
And We showed them not a sign except that it was greater than its sister, and We seized them with affliction that perhaps they might return [to faith]. ([43] Az-Zukhruf : 48)
