وَلَوْ شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ لَجَعَلَهُمْ اُمَّةً وَّاحِدَةً وَّلٰكِنْ يُّدْخِلُ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ فِيْ رَحْمَتِهٖۗ وَالظّٰلِمُوْنَ مَا لَهُمْ مِّنْ وَّلِيٍّ وَّلَا نَصِيْرٍ ( الشورى: ٨ )
And if
وَلَوْ
और अगर
Allah willed
شَآءَ
चाहता
Allah willed
ٱللَّهُ
अल्लाह
He could have made them
لَجَعَلَهُمْ
अलबत्ता वो बना देता उन्हें
a community
أُمَّةً
उम्मत
one
وَٰحِدَةً
एक ही
but
وَلَٰكِن
और लेकिन
He admits
يُدْخِلُ
वो दाख़िल करता है
whom
مَن
जिसे
He wills
يَشَآءُ
वो चाहता है
in (to)
فِى
अपनी रहमत में
His Mercy
رَحْمَتِهِۦۚ
अपनी रहमत में
And the wrongdoers
وَٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
और जो ज़ालिम हैं
not
مَا
नहीं
for them
لَهُم
उनके लिए
any
مِّن
कोई दोस्त
protector
وَلِىٍّ
कोई दोस्त
and not
وَلَا
और ना
any helper
نَصِيرٍ
कोई मददगार
Walaw shaa Allahu laja'alahum ommatan wahidatan walakin yudkhilu man yashao fee rahmatihi waalththalimoona ma lahum min waliyyin wala naseerin (aš-Šūrā 42:8)

यदि अल्लाह चाहता तो उन्हें एक ही समुदाय बना देता, किन्तु वह जिसे चाहता है अपनी दयालुता में दाख़िल करता है। रहे ज़ालिम, तो उनका न तो कोई निकटवर्ती मित्र है और न कोई (दूर का) सहायक
English Sahih:
And if Allah willed, He could have made them [of] one religion, but He admits whom He wills into His mercy. And the wrongdoers have not any protector or helper. ([42] Ash-Shuraa : 8)
