فَمَآ اُوْتِيْتُمْ مِّنْ شَيْءٍ فَمَتَاعُ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚوَمَا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ خَيْرٌ وَّاَبْقٰى لِلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَلٰى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُوْنَۚ ( الشورى: ٣٦ )
So whatever
فَمَآ
पस जो भी
you are given
أُوتِيتُم
दिए गए हो तुम
of
مِّن
कोई चीज़
a thing
شَىْءٍ
कोई चीज़
(is) but a passing enjoyment
فَمَتَٰعُ
तो सामान है
(for) the life
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
ज़िन्दगी का
(of) the world
ٱلدُّنْيَاۖ
दुनिया की
But what
وَمَا
और जो
(is) with
عِندَ
पास है
Allah
ٱللَّهِ
अल्लाह के
(is) better
خَيْرٌ
बेहतर है
and more lasting
وَأَبْقَىٰ
और ज़्यादा बाक़ी रहने वाला है
for those who
لِلَّذِينَ
उनके लिए जो
believe
ءَامَنُوا۟
ईमान लाए
and upon
وَعَلَىٰ
और अपने रब पर ही
their Lord
رَبِّهِمْ
और अपने रब पर ही
put (their) trust
يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
वो तवक्कल करते है
Fama ooteetum min shayin famata'u alhayati alddunya wama 'inda Allahi khayrun waabqa lillatheena amanoo wa'ala rabbihim yatawakkaloona (aš-Šūrā 42:36)

तुम्हें जो चीज़ भी मिली है वह तो सांसारिक जीवन की अस्थायी सुख-सामग्री है। किन्तु जो कुछ अल्लाह के पास है वह उत्तम है और शेष रहनेवाला भी, वह उन्ही के लिए है जो ईमान लाए और अपने रब पर भरोसा रखते है;
English Sahih:
So whatever thing you have been given – it is but [for] enjoyment of the worldly life. But what is with Allah is better and more lasting for those who have believed and upon their Lord rely ([42] Ash-Shuraa : 36)
