فَاَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيْحًا صَرْصَرًا فِيْٓ اَيَّامٍ نَّحِسَاتٍ لِّنُذِيْقَهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِى الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا ۗوَلَعَذَابُ الْاٰخِرَةِ اَخْزٰى وَهُمْ لَا يُنْصَرُوْنَ  ( فصلت: ١٦ )

So We sent
فَأَرْسَلْنَا
तो भेजी हमने
upon them
عَلَيْهِمْ
उन पर
a wind
رِيحًا
एक हवा
furious
صَرْصَرًا
तुंद व तेज़
in
فِىٓ
नहूसत के दिनों में
(the) days
أَيَّامٍ
नहूसत के दिनों में
(of) misfortune
نَّحِسَاتٍ
नहूसत के दिनों में
that We may make them taste
لِّنُذِيقَهُمْ
ताकि हम चखाऐं उन्हें
(the) punishment
عَذَابَ
अज़ाब
(of) disgrace
ٱلْخِزْىِ
रुस्वाई का
in
فِى
ज़िन्दगी में
the life
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
ज़िन्दगी में
(of) the world
ٱلدُّنْيَاۖ
दुनिया की
And surely, (the) punishment
وَلَعَذَابُ
और यक़ीनन अज़ाब
(of) the Hereafter
ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
आख़िरत का
(is) more disgracing
أَخْزَىٰۖ
ज़्यादा रुस्वाकुन है
and they
وَهُمْ
और वो
will not be helped
لَا
ना वो मदद किए जाऐंगे
will not be helped
يُنصَرُونَ
ना वो मदद किए जाऐंगे

Faarsalna 'alayhim reehan sarsaran fee ayyamin nahisatin linutheeqahum 'athaba alkhizyi fee alhayati alddunya wala'athabu alakhirati akhza wahum la yunsaroona (Fuṣṣilat 41:16)

अन्ततः हमने कुछ अशुभ दिनों में उनपर एक शीत-झंझावात चलाई, ताकि हम उन्हें सांसारिक जीवन में अपमान और रुसवाई की यातना का मज़ा चखा दें। और आख़िरत की यातना तो इससे कहीं बढ़कर रुसवा करनेवाली है। और उनको कोई सहायता भी न मिल सकेगी

English Sahih:

So We sent upon them a screaming wind during days of misfortune to make them taste the punishment of disgrace in the worldly life; but the punishment of the Hereafter is more disgracing, and they will not be helped. ([41] Fussilat : 16)

तो हमने भी (तो उनके) नहूसत के दिनों में उन पर बड़ी ज़ोरों की ऑंधी चलाई ताकि दुनिया की ज़िन्दगी में भी उनको रूसवाई के अज़ाब का मज़ा चखा दें और आखेरत का अज़ाब तो और ज्यादा रूसवा करने वाला ही होगा और (फिर) उनको कहीं से मदद भी न मिलेगी
