فَقَضٰىهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمٰوٰتٍ فِيْ يَوْمَيْنِ وَاَوْحٰى فِيْ كُلِّ سَمَاۤءٍ اَمْرَهَا ۗوَزَيَّنَّا السَّمَاۤءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيْحَۖ وَحِفْظًا ۗذٰلِكَ تَقْدِيْرُ الْعَزِيْزِ الْعَلِيْمِ ( فصلت: ١٢ )
Faqadahunna sab'a samawatin fee yawmayni waawha fee kulli samain amraha wazayyanna alssamaa alddunya bimasabeeha wahifthan thalika taqdeeru al'azeezi al'aleemi (Fuṣṣilat 41:12)

फिर दो दिनों में उनको अर्थात सात आकाशों को बनाकर पूरा किया और प्रत्येक आकाश में उससे सम्बन्धित आदेश की प्रकाशना कर दी औऱ दुनिया के (निकटवर्ती) आकाश को हमने दीपों से सजाया (रात के यात्रियों के दिशा-निर्देश आदि के लिए) और सुरक्षित करने के उद्देश्य से। यह अत्.न्त प्रभुत्वशाली, सर्वज्ञ का ठहराया हुआ है।'
English Sahih:
And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired [i.e., made known] in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps [i.e., stars, for beauty] and as protection. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. ([41] Fussilat : 12)

(और हुक्म के पाबन्द हैं) फिर उसने दोनों में उस (धुएँ) के सात आसमान बनाए और हर आसमान में उसके (इन्तेज़ाम) का हुक्म (कार कुनान कज़ा व क़दर के पास) भेज दिया और हमने नीचे वाले आसमान को (सितारों के) चिराग़ों से मज़य्यन किया और (शैतानों से महफूज़) रखा ये वाक़िफ़कार ग़ालिब ख़ुदा के (मुक़र्रर किए हुए) अन्दाज़ हैं
