وَمَنْ لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ مِنْكُمْ طَوْلًا اَنْ يَّنْكِحَ الْمُحْصَنٰتِ الْمُؤْمِنٰتِ فَمِنْ مَّا مَلَكَتْ اَيْمَانُكُمْ مِّنْ فَتَيٰتِكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنٰتِۗ وَاللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِاِيْمَانِكُمْ ۗ بَعْضُكُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْضٍۚ فَانْكِحُوْهُنَّ بِاِذْنِ اَهْلِهِنَّ وَاٰتُوْهُنَّ اُجُوْرَهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ مُحْصَنٰتٍ غَيْرَ مُسٰفِحٰتٍ وَّلَا مُتَّخِذٰتِ اَخْدَانٍ ۚ فَاِذَآ اُحْصِنَّ فَاِنْ اَتَيْنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ فَعَلَيْهِنَّ نِصْفُ مَا عَلَى الْمُحْصَنٰتِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِۗ ذٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ الْعَنَتَ مِنْكُمْ ۗ وَاَنْ تَصْبِرُوْا خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ࣖ ( النساء: ٢٥ )
Waman lam yastati' minkum tawlan an yankiha almuhsanati almuminati famin ma malakat aymanukum min fatayatikumu almuminati waAllahu a'lamu bieemanikum ba'dukum min ba'din fainkihoohunna biithni ahlihinna waatoohunna ojoorahunna bialma'roofi muhsanatin ghayra masafihatin wala muttakhithati akhdanin faitha ohsinna fain atayna bifahishatin fa'alayhinna nisfu ma 'ala almuhsanati mina al'athabi thalika liman khashiya al'anata minkum waan tasbiroo khayrun lakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun (an-Nisāʾ 4:25)

और तुममें से जिस किसी की इतनी सामर्थ्य न हो कि पाकदामन, स्वतंत्र, ईमानवाली स्त्रियों से विवाह कर सके, तो तुम्हारी वे ईमानवाली जवान लौडियाँ ही सही जो तुम्हारे क़ब्ज़े में हो। और अल्लाह तुम्हारे ईमान को भली-भाँति जानता है। तुम सब आपस में एक ही हो, तो उनके मालिकों की अनुमति से तुम उनसे विवाह कर लो और सामान्य नियम के अनुसार उन्हें उनका हक़ भी दो। वे पाकदामनी की सुरक्षा करनेवाली हों, स्वच्छन्द काम-तृप्ति न करनेवाली हों और न वे चोरी-छिपे ग़ैरो से प्रेम करनेवाली हों। फिर जब वे विवाहिता बना ली जाएँ और उसके पश्चात कोई अश्लील कर्म कर बैठें, तो जो दंड सम्मानित स्त्रियों के लिए है, उसका आधा उनके लिए होगा। यह तुममें से उस व्यक्ति के लिए है, जिसे ख़राबी में पड़ जाने का भय हो, और यह कि तुम धैर्य से काम लो तो यह तुम्हारे लिए अधिक अच्छा है। निस्संदेह अल्लाह बहुत क्षमाशील, दयावान है
English Sahih:
And whoever among you cannot [find] the means to marry free, believing women, then [he may marry] from those whom your right hands possess of believing slave girls. And Allah is most knowing about your faith. You [believers] are of one another. So marry them with the permission of their people and give them their due compensation [i.e., mahr] according to what is acceptable. [They should be] chaste, neither [of] those who commit unlawful intercourse randomly nor those who take [secret] lovers. But once they are sheltered in marriage, if they should commit adultery, then for them is half the punishment for free [unmarried] women. This [allowance] is for him among you who fears affliction [i.e., sin], but to be patient is better for you. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. ([4] An-Nisa : 25)

और तुममें से जो शख्स आज़ाद इफ्फ़तदार औरतों से निकाह करने की माली हैसियत से क़ुदरत न रखता हो तो वह तुम्हारी उन मोमिना लौन्डियों से जो तुम्हारे कब्ज़े में हैं निकाह कर सकता है और ख़ुदा तुम्हारे ईमान से ख़ूब वाक़िफ़ है (ईमान की हैसियत से तो) तुममें एक दूसरे का हमजिन्स है पस (बे ताम्मुल) उनके मालिकों की इजाज़त से लौन्डियों से निकाह करो और उनका मेहर हुस्ने सुलूक से दे दो मगर उन्हीं (लौन्डियो) से निकाह करो जो इफ्फ़त के साथ तुम्हारी पाबन्द रहें न तो खुले आम ज़िना करना चाहें और न चोरी छिपे से आशनाई फिर जब तुम्हारी पाबन्द हो चुकी उसके बाद कोई बदकारी करे तो जो सज़ा आज़ाद बीवियों को दी जाती है उसकी आधी (सज़ा) लौन्डियों को दी जाएगी (और लौन्डियों) से निकाह कर भी सकता है तो वह शख्स जिसको ज़िना में मुब्तिला हो जाने का ख़ौफ़ हो और सब्र करे तो तुम्हारे हक़ में ज्यादा बेहतर है और ख़ुदा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है
