وَلَنُذِيْقَنَّهُمْ مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ الْاَدْنٰى دُوْنَ الْعَذَابِ الْاَكْبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُوْنَ ( السجدة: ٢١ )
And surely We will let them taste
وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم
और अलबत्ता हम ज़रूर चखाऐंगे उन्हें
of
مِّنَ
अज़ाब में से
the punishment
ٱلْعَذَابِ
अज़ाब में से
the nearer
ٱلْأَدْنَىٰ
कमतर/हल्का
before
دُونَ
अलावा
the punishment
ٱلْعَذَابِ
अज़ाब
the greater
ٱلْأَكْبَرِ
बड़े के
so that they may
لَعَلَّهُمْ
शायद कि वो
return
يَرْجِعُونَ
वो लौट आऐं
Walanutheeqannahum mina al'athabi aladna doona al'athabi alakbari la'allahum yarji'oona (as-Sajdah 32:21)

हम बड़ी यातना से इतर उन्हें छोटी यातना का मज़ा चखाएँगे, कदाचित वे पलट आएँ
English Sahih:
And We will surely let them taste the nearer punishment short of the greater punishment that perhaps they will return [i.e., repent]. ([32] As-Sajdah : 21)
