وَاقْصِدْ فِيْ مَشْيِكَ وَاغْضُضْ مِنْ صَوْتِكَۗ اِنَّ اَنْكَرَ الْاَصْوَاتِ لَصَوْتُ الْحَمِيْرِ ࣖ ( لقمان: ١٩ )
And be moderate
وَٱقْصِدْ
और मयाना रवी इख़्तियार करो
in
فِى
अपनी चाल में
your pace
مَشْيِكَ
अपनी चाल में
and lower
وَٱغْضُضْ
और पस्त रखो
[of]
مِن
अपनी आवाज़ को
your voice
صَوْتِكَۚ
अपनी आवाज़ को
Indeed
إِنَّ
बेशक
(the) harshest
أَنكَرَ
सबसे ज़्यादा नापसंदीदा
(of all) sounds
ٱلْأَصْوَٰتِ
आवाज़ों में से
(is) surely (the) voice
لَصَوْتُ
अलबत्ता आवाज़ है
(of) the donkeys"
ٱلْحَمِيرِ
गधे की
Waiqsid fee mashyika waoghdud min sawtika inna ankara alaswati lasawtu alhameeri (Luq̈mān 31:19)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
'और अपनी चाल में सहजता और संतुलन बनाए रख और अपनी आवाज़ धीमी रख। निस्संदेह आवाज़ों में सबसे बुरी आवाज़ गधों की आवाज़ होती है।'
English Sahih:
And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys." ([31] Luqman : 19)
