وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ رُسُلًا اِلٰى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَاۤءُوْهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ فَانْتَقَمْنَا مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ اَجْرَمُوْاۗ وَكَانَ حَقًّاۖ عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ( الروم: ٤٧ )
Walaqad arsalna min qablika rusulan ila qawmihim fajaoohum bialbayyinati faintaqamna mina allatheena ajramoo wakana haqqan 'alayna nasru almumineena (ar-Rūm 30:47)

हम तुमसे पहले कितने ही रसूलों को उनकी क़ौम की ओर भेज चुके है और वे उनके पास खुली निशानियाँ लेकर आए। फिर हम उन लोगों से बदला लेकर रहे जिन्होंने अपराध किया, और ईमानवालों की सहायता करना तो हमपर एक हक़ है
English Sahih:
And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers. ([30] Ar-Rum : 47)
