فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَتْ قِيْلَ اَهٰكَذَا عَرْشُكِۗ قَالَتْ كَاَنَّهٗ هُوَۚ وَاُوْتِيْنَا الْعِلْمَ مِنْ قَبْلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسْلِمِيْنَ ( النمل: ٤٢ )
So when
فَلَمَّا
तो जब
she came
جَآءَتْ
वो आ गई
it was said
قِيلَ
कहा गया
"Is like this
أَهَٰكَذَا
क्या इसी तरह का है
your throne?"
عَرْشُكِۖ
तख़्त तेरा
She said
قَالَتْ
वो बोली
"It is like
كَأَنَّهُۥ
गोया कि वो
it"
هُوَۚ
वो ही है
"And we were given
وَأُوتِينَا
और दिए गए थे हम
the knowledge
ٱلْعِلْمَ
इल्म
before her
مِن
इससे पहले ही
before her
قَبْلِهَا
इससे पहले ही
and we have been
وَكُنَّا
और थे हम
Muslims"
مُسْلِمِينَ
फ़रमाबरदार
Falamma jaat qeela ahakatha 'arshuki qalat kaannahu huwa waooteena al'ilma min qabliha wakunna muslimeena (an-Naml 27:42)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
जब वह आई तो कहा गया, 'क्या तुम्हारा सिंहासन ऐसा ही है?' उसने कहा, 'यह तो जैसे वही है, और हमें तो इससे पहले ही ज्ञान प्राप्त हो चुका था; और हम आज्ञाकारी हो गए थे।'
English Sahih:
So when she arrived, it was said [to her], "Is your throne like this?" She said, "[It is] as though it was it." [Solomon said], "And we were given knowledge before her, and we have been Muslims [in submission to Allah]. ([27] An-Naml : 42)
