وَالَّذِيْنَ يَرْمُوْنَ اَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَّهُمْ شُهَدَاۤءُ اِلَّآ اَنْفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَادَةُ اَحَدِهِمْ اَرْبَعُ شَهٰدٰتٍۢ بِاللّٰهِ ۙاِنَّهٗ لَمِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ ( النور: ٦ )
And those who
وَٱلَّذِينَ
और वो लोग जो
accuse
يَرْمُونَ
तोहमत लगाते हैं
their spouses
أَزْوَٰجَهُمْ
अपनी बीवियों पर
and not
وَلَمْ
और नहीं
have
يَكُن
हैं
for them
لَّهُمْ
उनके लिए
witnesses
شُهَدَآءُ
कोई गवाह
except
إِلَّآ
मगर
themselves
أَنفُسُهُمْ
वो ख़ुद ही
then (the) testimony
فَشَهَٰدَةُ
तो गवाही होगी
(of) one of them
أَحَدِهِمْ
उनमें से एक की
(is) four
أَرْبَعُ
चार
testimonies
شَهَٰدَٰتٍۭ
गवाहियाँ
by Allah
بِٱللَّهِۙ
साथ अल्लाह (की क़सम) के
that he
إِنَّهُۥ
बेशक वो
(is) surely of
لَمِنَ
अलबत्ता सच्चों में से है
the truthful
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
अलबत्ता सच्चों में से है
Waallatheena yarmoona azwajahum walam yakun lahum shuhadao illa anfusuhum fashahadatu ahadihim arba'u shahadatin biAllahi innahu lamina alssadiqeena (an-Nūr 24:6)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
औऱ जो लोग अपनी पत्नियों पर दोषारोपण करें औऱ उनके पास स्वयं के सिवा गवाह मौजूद न हों, तो उनमें से एक (अर्थात पति) चार बार अल्लाह की क़सम खाकर यह गवाही दे कि वह बिलकुल सच्चा है
English Sahih:
And those who accuse their wives [of adultery] and have no witnesses except themselves – then the witness of one of them [shall be] four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the truthful. ([24] An-Nur : 6)
