قَالَ يَبْنَؤُمَّ لَا تَأْخُذْ بِلِحْيَتِيْ وَلَا بِرَأْسِيْۚ اِنِّيْ خَشِيْتُ اَنْ تَقُوْلَ فَرَّقْتَ بَيْنَ بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ وَلَمْ تَرْقُبْ قَوْلِيْ ( طه: ٩٤ )
He said
قَالَ
कहा
"O son of my mother!
يَبْنَؤُمَّ
ऐ मेरी माँ के बेटे
(Do) not
لَا
ना तुम पकड़ो
seize (me)
تَأْخُذْ
ना तुम पकड़ो
by my beard
بِلِحْيَتِى
मेरी दाढ़ी को
and not
وَلَا
और ना
by my head
بِرَأْسِىٓۖ
मेरे सर को
Indeed, I
إِنِّى
बेशक मैं
[I] feared
خَشِيتُ
डरा मैं
that
أَن
कि
you would say
تَقُولَ
तुम कहोगे
"You caused division
فَرَّقْتَ
तफ़रक़ा डाल दिया तूने
between
بَيْنَ
दर्मियान
(the) Children of Israel
بَنِىٓ
बनी इस्राईल के
(the) Children of Israel
إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
बनी इस्राईल के
and not
وَلَمْ
और ना
you respect
تَرْقُبْ
तुम ने इन्तिज़ार किया
my word"
قَوْلِى
मेरी बात का
Qala ya bna omma la takhuth bilihyatee wala birasee innee khasheetu an taqoola farraqta bayna banee israeela walam tarqub qawlee (Ṭāʾ Hāʾ 20:94)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
उसने कहा, 'ऐ मेरी माँ के बेटे! मेरी दाढ़ी न पकड़ और न मेरा सिर! मैं डरा कि तू कहेंगा कि तूने इसराईल की सन्तान में फूट डाल दी और मेरी बात पर ध्यान न दिया।'
English Sahih:
[Aaron] said, "O son of my mother, do not seize [me] by my beard or by my head. Indeed, I feared that you would say, 'You caused division among the Children of Israel, and you did not observe [or await] my word.'" ([20] Taha : 94)
