وَاِذَا لَقُوا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا قَالُوْٓا اٰمَنَّاۚ وَاِذَا خَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ اِلٰى بَعْضٍ قَالُوْٓا اَتُحَدِّثُوْنَهُمْ بِمَا فَتَحَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لِيُحَاۤجُّوْكُمْ بِهٖ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ ۗ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ ( البقرة: ٧٦ )
Waitha laqoo allatheena amanoo qaloo amanna waitha khala ba'duhum ila ba'din qaloo atuhaddithoonahum bima fataha Allahu 'alaykum liyuhajjookum bihi 'inda rabbikum afala ta'qiloona (al-Baq̈arah 2:76)

और जब वे ईमान लानेवाले से मिलते है तो कहते हैं, 'हम भी ईमान रखते हैं', और जब आपस में एक-दूसरे से एकान्त में मिलते है तो कहते है, 'क्या तुम उन्हें वे बातें, जो अल्लाह ने तुम पर खोली, बता देते हो कि वे उनके द्वारा तुम्हारे रब के यहाँ हुज्जत में तुम्हारा मुक़ाबिला करें? तो क्या तुम समझते नहीं!'
English Sahih:
And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We have believed"; but when they are alone with one another, they say, "Do you talk to them about what Allah has revealed to you so they can argue with you about it before your Lord?" Then will you not reason? ([2] Al-Baqarah : 76)

जो ईमान लाए तो कह देते हैं कि हम तो ईमान ला चुके और जब उनसे बाज़-बाज़ के साथ तख़िलया करते हैं तो कहते हैं कि जो कुछ खुदा ने तुम पर (तौरेत) में ज़ाहिर कर दिया है क्या तुम (मुसलमानों को) बता दोगे ताकि उसके सबब से कल तुम्हारे खुदा के पास तुम पर हुज्जत लाएँ क्या तुम इतना भी नहीं समझते
