अल बकराह आयत ५७

وَظَلَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْغَمَامَ وَاَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَنَّ وَالسَّلْوٰى ۗ كُلُوْا مِنْ طَيِّبٰتِ مَا رَزَقْنٰكُمْ ۗ وَمَا ظَلَمُوْنَا وَلٰكِنْ كَانُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُوْنَ  ( البقرة: ٥٧ )

And We shaded
وَظَلَّلْنَا
और साया किया हमने
[over] you
عَلَيْكُمُ
तुम पर
(with) [the] clouds
ٱلْغَمَامَ
बादलों का
and We sent down
وَأَنزَلْنَا
और उतारा हमने
to you
عَلَيْكُمُ
तुम पर
[the] manna
ٱلْمَنَّ
मन्न
and [the] quails
وَٱلسَّلْوَىٰۖ
और सलवा
"Eat
كُلُوا۟
खाओ
from
مِن
इन पाकीज़ा चीज़ों से
(the) good things
طَيِّبَٰتِ
इन पाकीज़ा चीज़ों से
that
مَا
जो
We have provided you"
رَزَقْنَٰكُمْۖ
रिज़्क़ दिया हमने तुम्हें
And not
وَمَا
और नहीं
they wronged Us
ظَلَمُونَا
उन्होंने ज़ुल्म किया हम पर
but
وَلَٰكِن
और लेकिन
they were
كَانُوٓا۟
थे वो
(to) themselves
أَنفُسَهُمْ
अपने नफ़्सों ही पर
doing wrong
يَظْلِمُونَ
वो ज़ुल्म करते

Wathallalna 'alaykumu alghamama waanzalna 'alaykumu almanna waalssalwa kuloo min tayyibati ma razaqnakum wama thalamoona walakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoona (al-Baq̈arah 2:57)

और हमने तुमपर बादलों की छाया की और तुमपर 'मन्न' और 'सलबा' उतारा - 'खाओ, जो अच्छी पाक चीजें हमने तुम्हें प्रदान की है।' उन्होंने हमारा तो कुछ भी नहीं बिगाड़ा, बल्कि वे अपने ही ऊपर अत्याचार करते रहे

English Sahih:

And We shaded you with clouds and sent down to you manna and quails, [saying], "Eat from the good things with which We have provided you." And they wronged Us not – but they were [only] wronging themselves. ([2] Al-Baqarah : 57)

और हमने तुम पर अब्र का साया किया और तुम पर मन व सलवा उतारा और (ये भी तो कह दिया था कि) जो सुथरी व नफीस रोज़िया तुम्हें दी हैं उन्हें शौक़ से खाओ, और उन लोगों ने हमारा तो कुछ बिगड़ा नहीं मगर अपनी जानों पर सितम ढाते रहे
