وَكَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِّنْ قَرْنٍۗ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُمْ مِّنْ اَحَدٍ اَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًا ࣖ ( مريم: ٩٨ )
And how many

We (have) destroyed
أَهْلَكْنَا
हलाक कर दीं हमने
before them

a generation?

رِكْزًۢا
कोई आहट/भनक
Wakam ahlakna qablahum min qarnin hal tuhissu minhum min ahadin aw tasma'u lahum rikzan (Maryam 19:98)

उनसे पहले कितनी ही नसलों को हम विनष्ट कर चुके है। क्या उनमें किसी की आहट तुम पाते हो या उनकी कोई भनक सुनते हो?
English Sahih:
And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? ([19] Maryam : 98)
