وَلَمَّا فَصَلَتِ الْعِيْرُ قَالَ اَبُوْهُمْ اِنِّيْ لَاَجِدُ رِيْحَ يُوْسُفَ لَوْلَآ اَنْ تُفَنِّدُوْنِ ( يوسف: ٩٤ )
And when
وَلَمَّا
और जब
departed
فَصَلَتِ
जुदा हुआ
the caravan
ٱلْعِيرُ
क़फ़िला
their father said
قَالَ
कहा
their father said
أَبُوهُمْ
उनके वालिद ने
"Indeed, I
إِنِّى
बेशक मैं
[I] find
لَأَجِدُ
अलबत्ता मैं पाता हूँ
(the) smell
رِيحَ
ख़ुशबू/हवा
(of) Yusuf
يُوسُفَۖ
यूसुफ़ की
if not
لَوْلَآ
अगर ना
that
أَن
ये कि
you think me weakened in mind"
تُفَنِّدُونِ
तुम बहका हुआ कहो मुझे
Walamma fasalati al'eeru qala aboohum innee laajidu reeha yoosufa lawla an tufannidooni (Yūsuf 12:94)

इधर जब क़ाफ़िला चला तो उनके बाप ने कहा, 'यदि तुम मुझे बहकी बातें करनेवाला न समझो तो मुझे तो यूसुफ़ की महक आ रही है।'
English Sahih:
And when the caravan departed [from Egypt], their father said, "Indeed, I find the smell of Joseph [and would say that he was alive] if you did not think me weakened in mind." ([12] Yusuf : 94)
