اِذْ قَالُوْا لَيُوْسُفُ وَاَخُوْهُ اَحَبُّ اِلٰٓى اَبِيْنَا مِنَّا وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ ۗاِنَّ اَبَانَا لَفِيْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيْنٍۙ ( يوسف: ٨ )
When
إِذْ
जब
they said
قَالُوا۟
उन्होंने कहा
"Surely Yusuf
لَيُوسُفُ
बिला शुबाह यूसुफ़
and his brother
وَأَخُوهُ
और उसका भाई
(are) more beloved
أَحَبُّ
ज़्यादा प्यारे हैं
to
إِلَىٰٓ
हमारे वालिद को
our father
أَبِينَا
हमारे वालिद को
than we
مِنَّا
हम से
while we
وَنَحْنُ
हालाँकि हम
(are) a group
عُصْبَةٌ
एक जत्था हैं
Indeed
إِنَّ
बेशक
our father
أَبَانَا
वालिद हमारे
(is) surely in
لَفِى
अलबत्ता भूल में हैं
an error
ضَلَٰلٍ
अलबत्ता भूल में हैं
clear
مُّبِينٍ
वाज़ेह
Ith qaloo layoosufu waakhoohu ahabbu ila abeena minna wanahnu 'usbatun inna abana lafee dalalin mubeenin (Yūsuf 12:8)

जबकि उन्होंने कहा, 'यूसुफ़ और उसका भाई हमारे बाप को हमसे अधिक प्रिय है, हालाँकि हम एक पूरा जत्था है। वासत्व में हमारे बाप स्पष्ट तः बहक गए है
English Sahih:
When they said, "Joseph and his brother are more beloved to our father than we, while we are a clan. Indeed, our father is in clear error. ([12] Yusuf : 8)
