Al-Balad Verse 18

These are the people of the right.

Such are the people of the Right.

Those are the Companions of the Right Hand.

Those who do this will be on the right-hand side,

These are the fellows of the righthand.

Such are the Companions of the Right Hand.

These are the People of the Right Hand.

They are the people of the right hand (and will succeed).

These are the people of the right.

They are the People of the Right Hand.

Those are they who are the people of happiness and prosperity (who will be given their Records in their right hands on Judgment Day).

These (who follow this hard path) are the blessed ones (- the people of the right hand).

Those are the blessings`/right`s (side`s/hand`s) owners/friends/company.

These are the people of the right.

These are the fellows of the right!

They are those on the Right Hand (the dwellers of Paradise),

And those who disbelieve in Our messages, they are the people of the left hand.

These are the people of the right hand.

Their place will be on the right hand.

These are the people of the right hand.

Those are the Companions of the Right.

They are those on the Right,

Those who do so are the people of the right hand,

These are the people of happiness.

Those, the ones described by the said attributes, are the ones of the right [side] (al-maymana means al- yamn).

They are those on the Right,

meaning, those who have these characteristics are the companions of the Right Hand.
The Companions of the Left Hand and Their Recompense

Then Allah says,

وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِأيَاتِنَا هُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْمَشْأَمَةِ
