وَيَحْلِفُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ اِنَّهُمْ لَمِنْكُمْۗ وَمَا هُمْ مِّنْكُمْ وَلٰكِنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ يَّفْرَقُوْنَ ( التوبة: ٥٦ )
wayaḥlifūna
وَيَحْلِفُونَ
And they swear
bil-lahi
بِٱللَّهِ
by Allah
innahum
إِنَّهُمْ
indeed they
laminkum
لَمِنكُمْ
surely (are) of you
wamā
وَمَا
while not
hum
هُم
they
minkum
مِّنكُمْ
(are) of you
walākinnahum
وَلَٰكِنَّهُمْ
but they
qawmun
قَوْمٌ
(are) a people
yafraqūna
يَفْرَقُونَ
(who) are afraid
Wa yahlifoona billaahi innnahum laminkum wa maa hum minkum wa laakinnahum qawmuny yafraqoon (at-Tawbah 9:56)
Sahih International:
And they swear by Allah that they are from among you while they are not from among you; but they are a people who are afraid. (At-Tawbah [9] : 56)

They swear by Allah that they are from among you, whereas they are not from among you, but they are a people in fear.
