'Abasa Verse 4

or he may be mindful, benefitting from the reminder.

or he might take heed and benefit from the reminder?

or yet remember, and the Reminder profit him.

or taken note of something useful to him.

Or be admonished, so that the admonition might have profited him?

Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him?

or he might be mindful and good counsel might avail him.

Or be admonished, and the admonition profit him?

Or that he may accept advice, so the advice may benefit him.

or take admonition, and the admonition would benefit him!

Or that he might grow mindful (of God’s Message), and the reminder benefit him?

Or that he might have paid heed to the admonition (that God has revealed to you) and this admonition would have done him good as well.

Or He mentions/remembers , so the remembrance/reminder benefits him .

Or that he may accept advice, so the advice may benefit him.

Or that he might become heedful so that the reminder should profit him?

Or that he might receive admonition, and that the admonition might profit him?

As for him who considers himself free from need

Or become reminded so that the reminder should profit him?

Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him?

or receive some (Quranic) advice which would benefit him.

(He might) remember, and the Reminder might profit him.

Or he might receive admonition, and the admonition might profit him

or take heed and derive benefit from [Our] warning?

Or be reminded, and the message would benefit him.

or be admonished (yadhdhakkar; the original t' [of yatadhakkar] has been assimilated with the dhl) and so the reminder, the admonition heard from you, might benefit him (a variant reading [for tanfa`uhu] has tanfa`ahu as the response to the optative statement).

Or he might receive admonition, and the admonition might profit him?

meaning, he may receive admonition and abstain from the forbidden.
