Al-A'raf Verse 84

We poured upon them a rain ˹of brimstone˺. See what was the end of the wicked!

And We rained down upon them a rain [of brimstone]. So see how was the end of the evildoers.

And We rained down upon them a rain; so behold thou, how was the end of the sinners!

and We showered upon [the rest of] them a rain [of destruction]. See the fate of the evildoers.

And We rained upon them a rain. So behold! what like was the end of the sinners.

And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone); Then see what was the end of those who indulged in sin and crime!

and We let loose a shower [of stones] upon them, Observe, then, the end of the evil-doers.

And We rained down on them a shower (of Stones). So witness the end of sinners!

And We rained a shower (of stones) upon them; therefore see what sort of fate befell the culprits!

Then We poured down upon them a rain [of stones]. So observe how was the fate of the guilty!

And We rained a destructive rain (of stones) upon them (those who stayed behind). Then, look, how was the outcome for the criminals committed to accumulating sins.

And We pelted (the rest of) them with a severe rain (- a rain of stones due to volcanic eruption combined with an earthquake). Behold! how (evil) was the end of those who cut off their ties (with Allâh).

And We rained on them rain, so see/wonder about how was the criminals`/sinners` end/turn (result).

And We rained a shower (of stones) upon them; therefore see what sort of fate befell the culprits!

And We rained down upon them a shower (of brimstone); - see then the nature of the consequences for sinners!

And We rained down on them a rain (of stones). Then see what was the end of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.).

So We delivered him and his followers, except his wife -- she was of those who remained behind.

And We rained upon them a rain; consider then what was the end of the guilty.

And We rained a rain upon them. See now the nature of the consequence of evil-doers!

We sent a torrential rain unto the (unbelievers). Consider how disastrous the end of the criminals was!

and We rained down upon them a rain. So look how was the end of the evildoers.

And We rained down on them a rain (of stones). Then see what was the end of the criminals.

We rained down on them a shower [of brimstone]. Then see what was the end of the evil-doers.

And We rained down on them a rain; note the consequences for the sinners.

And We rained upon them a rain, the stones of baked clay (hijrat al-sijjl), and it destroyed them. So behold what was the end of the sinners!

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا

And We rained down on them a rain,

is explained by His other statement,

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ مَّنْضُودٍ

مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبّكَ وَمَا هِى مِنَ الظَّـلِمِينَ بِبَعِيدٍ

And rained on them stones of baked clay, in a well-arranged manner one after another. Marked from your Lord; and they are not ever far from the wrongdoers. (11;82-83)

Allah said here,

فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ



Then see what was the end of the criminals.

This Ayah means;`See, O Muhammad, the end of those who dared to disobey Allah and reject His Messengers.'

Imam Ahmad, Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, all recorded a Hadith (from) Ibn Abbas who said that Allah's Messenger said;

مَنْ وَجَدْتُمُوهُ يَعْمَلُ عَمَلَ قَوْمِ لُوطٍ فَاقْتُلُوا الْفَاعِلَ وَالْمَفْعُول بِه

Whoever is found doing the act of the people of Lut, then kill them; the doer and the one it is done to
