وَقَالُوْا لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ اَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِيْٓ اَصْحٰبِ السَّعِيْرِ ( الملك: ١٠ )

وَقَالُوا۟
And they will say
law
لَوْ
"If
kunnā
كُنَّا
we had
nasmaʿu
نَسْمَعُ
listened
aw
أَوْ
or
naʿqilu
نَعْقِلُ
reasoned
mā
مَا
not
kunnā
كُنَّا
we (would) have been
fī
فِىٓ
among
aṣḥābi
أَصْحَٰبِ
(the) companions
l-saʿīri
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
(of) the Blaze"
Wa qaaloo law kunnaa nasma'u awna'qilu maa kunnaa feee as haabis sa'eer (al-Mulk 67:10)
Sahih International:
And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze." (Al-Mulk [67] : 10)

And they will say, “Had we been listening or understanding, we would not have been among the people of the Hell.”
