Al-An'am Verse 149

Say, “Allah has the most conclusive argument. Had it been His Will, He would have easily imposed guidance upon all of you.”

Say, “Allah alone has the most conclusive argument. If He had willed, He could have guided you all.”

Say: 'To God belongs the argument conclusive; for had He willed, He would have guided you all.'

Say, ‘The conclusive argument belongs to God alone. Had He so willed He would have guided you all.’

Say thou: with Allah resteth the argument evident. Wherefore, had He so willed, He would have guided you all.

Say; "With Allah is the argument that reaches home; if it had been His will, He could indeed have guided you all."

'Then say to them: '(As against your argument) Allah's is the conclusive argument. Surely, had He willed, He would have guided you all to the Truth.

Say: "To God belongs the consummate argument. Had He willed He would surely have guided all of you aright."

Say, “Then only Allah’s argument is the complete one; so had He willed, He would have guided you all.”

Say, ‘To Allah belongs the conclusive argument. Had He wished, He would have surely guided you all.’

Say: "(As against what you argue) God’s is the final, conclusive argument. And had He so willed (and compelled you act in a certain way, rather than letting you associate partners with Him and make unlawful what He has made lawful) He would have guided you all together to the truth.

Say, `Then with Allâh is the conclusive argument. Had He (enforced) His will, He would have surely guided you all.´

Say: "To God (is) the eloquent, the proof/argument, so if He wanted/willed, He would have guided you all/altogether ."91

Say, “Then only Allah’s argument is the complete one; so had He willed, He would have guided you all.”

Say, "Allah´s is the final (searching, conclusive, decisive) argument; and had He pleased He would have guided you all."

Say: "With Allah is the perfect proof and argument, (i.e. the Oneness of Allah, the sending of His Messengers and His Holy Books, etc. to mankind), had He so willed, He would indeed have guided you all."

Those who are polytheists say: If Allah pleased we would not have set up (aught with Him) nor our fathers, nor would have made anything unlawful. Thus did those before them reject (the truth) until they tasted Our punishment. Say: Have you any knowledge so you would bring it forth to us? You only follow a conjecture and you only tell lies.

Say: Then Allah's is the conclusive argument; so if He please, He would certainly guide you all.

Say - For Allah's is the final argument - Had He willed He could indeed have guided all of you.

Say, "Final authority belongs only to God. Had He wanted, He would have given you all guidance".

Say: 'Allah alone has the conclusive proof. Had He willed, He would have guided you all'

Say: "With Allah is the perfect proof and argument; had He so willed, He would indeed have guided you all."

Say, "God alone has the conclusive proof. If He had willed, He could have guided every one of you."

Say, “To God belongs the conclusive argument. Had He willed, He would have guided you all.”

Say, if you have no definitive argument, then; `To God belongs the conclusive argument, the perfect [one], for had He willed, to guide you, He could have guided all of you'.

Say;"With Allah is the perfect proof and argument; had He so willed, He would indeed have guided you all."

Allah said to His Prophet;

قُلْ

Say, (O Muhammad, to them),

فَلِلّهِ الْحُجَّةُ الْبَالِغَةُ

"With Allah is the perfect proof and argument...,"

the perfect wisdom and unequivocal proof to guide whom He wills and misguide whom He wills.

فَلَوْ شَاء لَهَدَاكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ


had He so willed, He would indeed have guided you all.

All of this happens according to His decree, His will, and His choice. So in this way, He is pleased with the believers, and angry with the disbelievers. Allah said in other Ayat,

وَلَوْ شَأءَ اللَّهُ لَجَمَعَهُمْ عَلَى الْهُدَى

And had Allah willed, He could have gathered them together (all) on true guidance, (6;35)

and,

وَلَوْ شَأءَ رَبُّكَ لامَنَ مَن فِى الاٌّرْضِ

And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. (10;99)

and,

وَلَوْ شَأءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ النَّاسَ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَا يَزَالُونَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ

إِلاَّ مَن رَّحِمَ رَبُّكَ وَلِذلِكَ خَلَقَهُمْ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبّكَ لَامْلَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ

And if your Lord had so willed, He could surely have made mankind one Ummah, but they will not cease to disagree. Except him on whom your Lord has bestowed His mercy and for that did He create them. And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled;"Surely, I shall fill Hell with Jinns and men all together." (11;118-119)

Ad-Dahhak said,

"No one has an excuse if he disobeys Allah. Surely, Allah has the perfect proof established against His servants."
