Al-Waqi'ah Verse 27

And the people of the right—how ˹blessed˺ will they be!

The people of the right – how blessed will be the people of the right!

The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!)

Those on the Right, what people they are!

And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be!

The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand?

As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right!

As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand --

And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right!

And the People of the Right Hand—what are the People of the Right Hand?!

And the people of the Right (the people of happiness and prosperity who will receive their Records in their right hands): how happy and prosperous are the people of the Right!

Those that are blessed - how (lucky) the blessed will be!

And the right (hand`s) owners/company/friends, (are) the right (hand`s) owners/company/friends! .

And those on the right - how (fortunate) are those on the right!

And the companions of the right hand; what of the companions of the Right Hand!

And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand?

But only the saying, Peace! Peace!

And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand!

And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand?

As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be!

The Companions of the Right

And those on the right -- how (fortunate) will be those on the right

Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right!

And those on the Right—what of those on the Right?

And those of the right [hand] -- what of those of the right [hand]?

The Reward of Those on the Right After

Allah mentioned the final destination of those foremost in faith, the nearest to Him, He next mentioned the end of those on the right, the righteous believers.

Maymun bin Mihran said that those on the right side are lesser in rank than the foremost in faith.

Allah said,

وَأَصْحَابُ الْيَمِينِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الْيَمِينِ



And those on the right -- how (fortunate) will be those on the right?

who are those on the right, what is their condition and what will their final destination be like?

Allah next answers this question by saying,

فِي سِدْرٍ مَّخْضُودٍ
