Al-Qamar Verse 7

With eyes downcast, they will come forth from the graves as if they were swarming locusts,

with eyes downcast, they will come out of the graves like scattered locusts,

abasing their eyes, they shall come forth from the tombs as if they were scattered grasshoppers,

eyes downcast, they will come out of their graves like swarming locusts

With looks downcast they will come forth, from the tombs, as though they were locusts scattered abroad.

They will come forth,- their eyes humbled - from (their) graves, (torpid) like locusts scattered abroad,

with down-cast eyes they shall go forth from their graves, as though they were scattered locusts.

They will come out of the graves with downcast eyes like an expanding swarm of locusts.

They will come out from the graves with eyes lowered, as if they were spread locusts.

they will emerge from the graves as if they were scattered locusts with a humbled look [in their eyes],

With eyes downcast, they will come forth from their graves as if they were locusts scattered abroad (in confusion),

While (with the sense of remorse) their eyes will be downcast, they will come forth from (their) graves as though they were (swarms of) locusts being scattered about,

Their eyesights/understanding (are) humble/submissive , they get out/emerge from the graves as though they are spread out grasshoppers/locusts.

They will come out from the graves with eyes lowered, as if they were spread locusts.

With downcast eyes, they come forth from their graves as if they were scattered locusts,

They will come forth, with humbled eyes from (their) graves as if they were locusts spread abroad,

And if they see a sign, they turn away and say: Strong enchantment!

Their eyes cast down, going forth from their graves as if they were scattered locusts,

With downcast eyes, they come forth from the graves as they were locusts spread abroad,

they will come out of their graves, their eyes cast down, hastening towards their Summoner as locusts rushing about.

their eyes will be humbled as they come out from their graves as if they were scattered locusts,

They will come forth, with humbled eyes from (their) graves as if they were locusts spread abroad,

with downcast eyes they shall come out of their graves, as if they were locusts milling about

Their eyes humiliated, they will emerge from the graves, as if they were swarming locusts.

with their downcast (khshi`an; a variant reading has khushsha`an), humiliated, looks (absruhum is a circumstantial qualifier referring to the subject of the verb [yakhrujna, `they will emerge']) they, that is, mankind, will emerge from the graves as though they were scattered locusts, not knowing where to go, out of fear and perplexity (this sentence [ka'annahum jardun muntashirun] is a circumstantial qualifier referring to the subject of [the verb] yakhrujna, `they will emerge', and so is His saying [muhti`na]),

خُشَّعًا أَبْصَارُهُمْ

with humbled eyes,

their eyes will be covered with disgrace,

يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الاَْجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُّنتَشِرٌ



they will come forth from (their) graves as if they were locusts spread abroad.

They will gather towards the area of Reckoning in such haste and crowds, in response to the caller, as if they were crowds of locusts spreading all about.

Allah said
