Az-Zukhruf Verse 3

Certainly, We have made it a Quran in Arabic so perhaps you will understand.

Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur’an so that you may understand,

behold, We have made it an Arabic Koran; haply you will understand;

We have made it a Quran in Arabic so that you [people] may understand.

Verily We! We have made it an Arabic Qur'an that haply ye may reflect.

We have made it a Qur'an in Arabic, that ye may be able to understand (and learn wisdom).

verily We have made it an Arabic Qur'an that you may understand.

That We made it a distinctly lucid Qur'an that you may understand.

We have indeed sent it as a Qur’an in the Arabic language, so that you may understand.

We have made it an Arabic Quran so that you may exercise your reason,

We have made it a Recitation (a Qur’an) in Arabic so that you may reason (and understand it and the wisdom in its revelation).

Verily, We have made it a Qur´ân, such (a Scripture) as brings (the nations) together, and (a Scripture) eloquently expressive so that you may make use of your understanding.

We (E) made it an Arabic Koran , maybe/perhaps you reason/comprehend.

We have indeed sent it as a Qur’an in the Arabic language, so that you may understand.

Surely We have made it an Arabic Lecture (Quran) that you may understand.

We verily, have made it a Quran in Arabic, that you may be able to understand (its meanings and its admonitions).

By the Book that makes manifest!

Surely We have made it an Arabic Quran that you may understand.

Lo! We have appointed it a Lecture, in Arabic that haply ye may understand.

We have made it an Arabic reading text so that perhaps you may understand.

We have made it an Arabic Koran in order that you understand.

Verily, We have made it a Qur'an in Arabic that you may be able to understand.

We have made it an Arabic Quran so that you may understand.

We made it an Arabic Quran, so that you may understand.

Lo! We have made it, We have brought the Book into existence [as], an Arabic Qur'n, in the language of the Arabs, that perhaps you, O people of Mecca, may understand, [that you may] comprehend its meanings.

إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهُ

Verily, We have made it, (meaning, revealed it),

قُرْانًا عَرَبِيًّا

a Qur'an in Arabic,

meaning, in the language of the Arabs, eloquent and clear;

لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ



that you may be able to understand.

means, that you may understand it and ponder its meanings.

This is like the Ayah;

بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِىٍّ مُّبِينٍ

In the plain Arabic language. (26;195)

وَإِنَّهُ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ
