وَاِذْ قَالَ اِبْرٰهِيْمُ لِاَبِيْهِ وَقَوْمِهٖٓ اِنَّنِيْ بَرَاۤءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْبُدُوْنَۙ ( الزخرف: ٢٦ )
wa-idh
وَإِذْ
And when
qāla
قَالَ
Ibrahim said
ib'rāhīmu
إِبْرَٰهِيمُ
Ibrahim said
li-abīhi
لِأَبِيهِ
to his father
waqawmihi
وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ
and his people
innanī
إِنَّنِى
"Indeed, I (am)
barāon
بَرَآءٌ
disassociated
mimmā
مِّمَّا
from what
taʿbudūna
تَعْبُدُونَ
you worship
Wa iz qaala Ibraaheemu liabeehi wa qawmiheee innane baraaa'um mimmaa ta'budo (az-Zukhruf 43:26)
Sahih International:
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said to his father and his people, "Indeed, I am disassociated from that which you worship (Az-Zukhruf [43] : 26)
