وَّقَوْلِهِمْ اِنَّا قَتَلْنَا الْمَسِيْحَ عِيْسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِۚ وَمَا قَتَلُوْهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوْهُ وَلٰكِنْ شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ ۗوَاِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اخْتَلَفُوْا فِيْهِ لَفِيْ شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ ۗمَا لَهُمْ بِهٖ مِنْ عِلْمٍ اِلَّا اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ وَمَا قَتَلُوْهُ يَقِيْنًاۢ ۙ   ( النساء: ١٥٧ )

وَقَوْلِهِمْ
And for their saying
innā
إِنَّا
"Indeed we

مَرْيَمَ

(of) Allah"
wamā
وَمَا
And not
qatalūhu
قَتَلُوهُ
they killed him
wamā
وَمَا
and not
ṣalabūhu
صَلَبُوهُ
they crucified him
walākin
وَلَٰكِن
but
shubbiha
شُبِّهَ
it was made to appear (so)
lahum
لَهُمْۚ
to them
wa-inna
وَإِنَّ
And indeed
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ikh'talafū
ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟
differ
fīhi
فِيهِ
in it
lafī
لَفِى
(are) surely in
shakkin
شَكٍّ
doubt
min'hu
مِّنْهُۚ
about it
مَا
Not
lahum
لَهُم
for them
bihi
بِهِۦ
about it
min
مِنْ
[of]
ʿil'min
عِلْمٍ
(any) knowledge
illā
إِلَّا
except
ittibāʿa
ٱتِّبَاعَ
(the) following
l-ẓani
ٱلظَّنِّۚ
(of) assumption
wamā
وَمَا
And not
qatalūhu
قَتَلُوهُ
they killed him
yaqīnan
يَقِينًۢا
certainly

Wa qawlihim innaa qatal nal maseeha 'Eesab-na-Maryama Rasoolal laahi wa maa qataloohu wa maa salaboohu wa laakin shubbiha lahum; wa innal lazeenakh talafoo fee lafee shakkim minh; maa lahum bihee min 'ilmin illat tibaa'az zann; wa maa qataloohu yaqeenaa (an-Nisāʾ 4:157)

Sahih International:

And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. (An-Nisa [4] : 157)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

and for their saying, “We have certainly killed the MasīH ‘Īsā the son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allah”, while in fact they did neither kill him, nor crucify him, but they were deluded by resemblance.Those who disputed in this matter are certainly in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it, but they follow whims. It is absolutely certain that they did not kill him,
