وَمَنْ يَّكْسِبْ اِثْمًا فَاِنَّمَا يَكْسِبُهٗ عَلٰى نَفْسِهٖ ۗ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلِيْمًا حَكِيْمًا ( النساء: ١١١ )
waman
وَمَن
And whoever
yaksib
يَكْسِبْ
earns
ith'man
إِثْمًا
sin
fa-innamā
فَإِنَّمَا
then only
yaksibuhu
يَكْسِبُهُۥ
he earns it
ʿalā
عَلَىٰ
against
nafsihi
نَفْسِهِۦۚ
his soul
wakāna
وَكَانَ
And is
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ʿalīman
عَلِيمًا
All-Knowing
ḥakīman
حَكِيمًا
All-Wise
Wa mai yaksib isman fa innamaa yaksibuhoo 'alaa nafsih; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman hakeemaa (an-Nisāʾ 4:111)
Sahih International:
And whoever earns [i.e., commits] a sin only earns it against himself. And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise. (An-Nisa [4] : 111)

Whoever commits a sin, commits it only against himself. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
