اَفَمَنْ يَّتَّقِيْ بِوَجْهِهٖ سُوْۤءَ الْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۗوَقِيْلَ لِلظّٰلِمِيْنَ ذُوْقُوْا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْسِبُوْنَ ( الزمر: ٢٤ )
afaman
أَفَمَن
Then (is) he who
yattaqī
يَتَّقِى
will shield
biwajhihi
بِوَجْهِهِۦ
with his face
sūa
سُوٓءَ
(the) worst
l-ʿadhābi
ٱلْعَذَابِ
punishment
yawma
يَوْمَ
(on the) Day
l-qiyāmati
ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِۚ
(of) the Resurrection?
waqīla
وَقِيلَ
And it will be said
lilẓẓālimīna
لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ
to the wrongdoers
dhūqū
ذُوقُوا۟
"Taste
mā
مَا
what
kuntum
كُنتُمْ
you used (to)
taksibūna
تَكْسِبُونَ
earn"
Afamai yattaqee biwaj hihee sooo'al 'azaabi Yawmal Qiyaamah; wa qeela lizzaali meena zooqoo maa kuntum taksiboon (az-Zumar 39:24)
Sahih International:
Then is he who will shield with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection [like one secure from it]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you used to earn." (Az-Zumar [39] : 24)

Tell Me about the one who tries to save himself from the worst punishment with his face on the Day of Judgment, (whether he is equal to the one who is not liable to any punishment.) And it will be said to the wrongdoers, “Have a taste of what you used to earn.”
