Al-Ahzab Verse 44

Their greeting on the Day they meet Him will be, “Peace!” And He has prepared for them an honourable reward.

Their greeting on the Day they meet Him will be, “Peace,” and He has prepared for them a generous reward.

Their greeting, on the day when they shall meet Him, will be 'Peace!' And He has prepared for them a generous wage.

when they meet Him they will be greeted with ‘Peace’- and He has prepared a generous reward for them.

Their greeting on the Day whereon they meet Him will be: peace. And He hath gotten ready for them a generous hire.

Their salutation on the Day they meet Him will be "Peace!"; and He has prepared for them a generous Reward.

On the Day they meet Him they will be greeted with: “Peace.” He has prepared for them a generous reward.

Their greeting on the day they meet Him will be: "Peace;" and He has a generous reward ready for them.

For them the salutation upon their meeting* is “Peace”; and an honourable reward is kept prepared for them. (* Upon death / while entering Paradise / meeting with Allah).

The day they encounter Him, their greeting will be, ‘Peace,’ and He holds in store for them a noble reward.

On the Day when they meet Him, their greeting (from those who welcome them will be), "Peace" (the promise of eternal security from punishment). And He has prepared for them an honorable, generous reward.

They will be greeted with peace the day they meet Him. And He has an honorous reward in store for them.

Their greeting (on) a day/time they meet/find Him (is): "A greeting/peace ." And He prepared for them, an honored/generous reward/wage .

For them the salutation upon their meeting * is “Peace”; and an honourable reward is kept prepared for them. (* Upon death / while entering Paradise / meeting with Allah).

He it is Who sends His blessings on you, and so do His angels, that He may bring you forth out of utter darkness into the light; and He is Merciful to the believers.

Their greeting on the Day they shall meet Him will be "Salam: Peace (i.e. the angels will say to them: Salamu 'Alaikum)!" And He has prepared for them a generous reward (i.e. Paradise).

He it is Who sends blessings on you, and (so do) His angels, that He may bring you forth out of darkness into light. And He is ever Merciful to the believers.

Their salutation on the day that they meet Him shall be, Peace, and He has prepared for them an honourable reward.

Their salutation on the day when they shall meet Him will be: Peace. And He hath prepared for them a goodly recompense.

On the day when they will be brought into the presence of their Lord, their greeting to each other will be, "Peace be with you." God has prepared an honorable reward for them.

On the Day they meet Him, their greeting shall be 'Peace' A generous recompense He has prepared for them.

Their greeting on the Day they shall meet Him will be "Salam (Peace!)" And He has prepared for them a generous reward.

On the Day they meet Him, they will be welcomed with the greeting, "Peace!" He has prepared an honourable reward for them.

Their greeting on the Day they meet Him is, “Peace,” and He has prepared for them a generous reward.

Their greeting, from Him, exalted be He, on the day they encounter Him will be `Peace', [extended to them] by the tongues of the angels. And He has prepared for them a noble reward, namely, Paradise.

تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهُ سَلَمٌ

Their greeting on the Day they shall meet Him will be "Salam!"

The apparent meaning -- and Allah knows best -- is that their greeting, from Allah on the Day that they meet Him, will be Salam, i.e., He will greet them with Salam, as He says elsewhere;

سَلَمٌ قَوْلاً مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ

(It will be said to them);Salam -- a Word from the Lord, Most Merciful. (36;58)

Qatadah claimed that the meaning was that they would greet one another with Salam on the Day when they meet Allah in the Hereafter.

This is like the Ayah;

دَعْوَهُمْ فِيهَا سُبْحَـنَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَمٌ وَءَاخِرُ دَعْوَاهُمْ أَنِ الْحَمْدُ للَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَـلَمِينَ

Their way of request therein will be `Glory to You, O Allah,' and `Salam' will be their greetings therein! and the close of their request will be `All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all that exits.' (10;10)

وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَرِيمًا



And He has prepared for them a generous reward.

means Paradise and everything in it of food, drink, clothing, dwellings, physical pleasure, luxuries and delightful scenes, such as no eye has seen, no ear has heard and has never entered the mind of man
