وَيَوْمَ تَقُوْمُ السَّاعَةُ يُقْسِمُ الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ ەۙ مَا لَبِثُوْا غَيْرَ سَاعَةٍ ۗ كَذٰلِكَ كَانُوْا يُؤْفَكُوْنَ ( الروم: ٥٥ )

Thus
kānū
كَانُوا۟

yu'fakūna
يُؤْفَكُونَ
deluded
Wa Yawma taqoomus Saa'atu yuqsimul mujrimoona maa labisoo ghaira saa'ah; kazaalika kaanoo yu'fakoon (ar-Rūm 30:55)
Sahih International:
And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will swear they had remained but an hour. Thus they were deluded. (Ar-Rum [30] : 55)

And on the Day when the Hour (Qiyāmah : the Day of Judgement) will take place, the sinners will swear that they did not remain (in the graves) more than one hour. In the similar way they used to be contrary (to truth in their worldly life).
