مَثَلُ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّخَذُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اَوْلِيَاۤءَ كَمَثَلِ الْعَنْكَبُوْتِۚ اِتَّخَذَتْ بَيْتًاۗ وَاِنَّ اَوْهَنَ الْبُيُوْتِ لَبَيْتُ الْعَنْكَبُوْتِۘ لَوْ كَانُوْا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ( العنكبوت: ٤١ )
Masalul lazeenat takhazoo min doonil laahi awliyaaa'a kamasalil 'ankaboot, ittakhazat baitaa; wa inna awhanal buyooti la baitul 'ankaboot; law kaanoo ya'lamoon (al-ʿAnkabūt 29:41)
Sahih International:
The example of those who take allies other than Allah is like that of the spider who takes [i.e., constructs] a home. And indeed, the weakest of homes is the home of the spider, if they only knew. (Al-'Ankabut [29] : 41)

The example of those who have adopted patrons other than Allah is like the spider that has made a house, while indeed the weakest of houses is the house of the spider. If only they know.
