Ash-Shu'ara Verse 5

Whatever new reminder comes to them from the Most Compassionate, they always turn away from it.

No new reminder comes to them from the Most Compassionate except that they turn away from it.

But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it.

Whenever they are brought a new revelation from the Lord of Mercy, they turn away:

And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be there from backsliders.

But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom.

Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it.

Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it.

And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it.

There does not come to them any new reminder from the All-beneficent but that they disregard it.

Whenever a new Revelation comes to them from the All-Merciful (to warn and enlighten them), they but turn away from it in aversion.

There never comes to them a fresh Reminder (in a new form and with new details) from the Most Gracious (God) but they turn away from it.

And none from a reminder initiated/originated from the merciful comes to them except they were from it objecting/opposing .

And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it.

If We will, We can send down upon them from heaven a sign which would bend their necks in humility.

And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom.

If We please, We could send down on them a sign from heaven, so that their necks would bend before it.

And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it.

Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it.

Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it.

A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it.

And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom.

Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it:

No fresh reminder comes to them from the Most Merciful, but they turn their backs at it.

And there would never come to them from the Compassionate One any remembrance, any [revelation from the] Qur'n, that is new (muhdathin, is an explicative adjective) but that they used to disregard it.

And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom.

meaning, every time a Scripture comes from heaven to them, most of the people turn away from it.

As Allah says;

وَمَأ أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتَ بِمُوْمِنِينَ

And most of mankind will not believe even if you desire it eagerly. (12;103)

يحَسْرَةً عَلَى الْعِبَادِ مَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ


Alas for mankind! There never came a Messenger to them but they used to mock at him. (36;30)

ثُمَّ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتْرَى كُلَّ مَا جَأءَ أُمَّةً رَّسُولُهَا كَذَّبُوهُ

Then We sent Our Messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation their Messenger, they denied him... (23;44)
Allah says here;

فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ أَنبَاء مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِيُون
