Ash-Shu'ara Verse 25

Pharaoh said to those around him, “Did you hear ˹what he said˺?”

Pharaoh said to those around him, “Did you hear [what he just said]?”

Said he to those about him, 'Do you not hear?'

Pharaoh said to those present, ‘Do you hear what he says?’

Fir'awn said unto those around him: hear ye not?

(Pharaoh) said to those around; "Did ye not listen (to what he says)?"

Pharaoh said to those around him: "Do you hear (what he says)?"

(The Pharaoh) said to those around him: "Do you hear?"

Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?”

He said to those who were around him, ‘Don’t you hear?!’

(The Pharaoh) said to those around him: "Do you not hear (what he is saying)?"

(Thereupon Pharaoh) said to those around him, `Do you not hear (what is being said)?´

He (Pharaoh) said to whom (was) around/surrounding him: "Do you not hear/listen?"

Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?”

Said he, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between the two, if you want certainty."

Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Do you not hear (what he says)?"

He said: The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you would be sure.

(Firon) said to those around him: Do you not hear?

(Pharaoh) said unto those around him: Hear ye not?

The Pharaoh said to the people around him, "Did you hear that?"

'Do you not hear' said he (Pharaoh) to those around him.

(Fir`awn) said to those around: "Do you not hear (what he says)"

Pharaoh said to those around him, "Did you hear?"

He said to those around him, “Do you not hear?”

He, Pharaoh, said to those, noblemen among his folk, who were around him, `Did you not hear?!', his response, how it does not correspond to the question [I asked]?

قَالَ لِمَنْ حَوْلَهُ

(Fir`awn) said to those around;

i.e., Fir`awn turned to the chiefs and leaders of his state around him, and said to them -- mockingly expressing his disbelief in Musa;

أَلَا تَسْتَمِعُونَ



"Do you not hear!"

meaning, `are you not amazed by what this man is claiming -- that you have another god other than me!'

Musa said to them;

قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ ابَايِكُمُ الاْاَوَّلِينَ
