وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ اَرَادَ اَنْ يَّذَّكَّرَ اَوْ اَرَادَ شُكُوْرًا ( الفرقان: ٦٢ )
wahuwa
وَهُوَ
And He
alladhī
ٱلَّذِى
(is) the One Who
jaʿala
جَعَلَ
made
al-layla
ٱلَّيْلَ
the night
wal-nahāra
وَٱلنَّهَارَ
and the day
khil'fatan
خِلْفَةً
(in) succession
liman
لِّمَنْ
for whoever
arāda
أَرَادَ
desires
an
أَن
to
yadhakkara
يَذَّكَّرَ
remember
aw
أَوْ
or
arāda
أَرَادَ
desires
shukūran
شُكُورًا
to be thankful
Wa huwal lazee ja'alal laila wannahaara khilfatal liman araada ai yazzakkara aw araadaa shookooraa (al-Furq̈ān 25:62)
Sahih International:
And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude. (Al-Furqan [25] : 62)

And He is the One who made the day and the night following each other, for the one who wishes to be mindful or wishes to show gratitude.
