Al-Mu'minun Verse 97

And say, “My Lord! I seek refuge in You from the temptations of the devils.

And say, “My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the temptations of the devils.

And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Satans,

and say, ‘Lord, I take refuge with You from the goadings of the evil ones;

And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans;

And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones.

And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones;

Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils.

And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.”

Say, ‘My Lord! I seek Your protection from the promptings of devils,

And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge in You from the promptings and provocations of the satans (of the jinn and humankind especially in my relations with people, while I am performing my mission).

And say (in prayer), `My Lord! I seek refuge in You from the mischief-mongerings of the rebellious (people);

And say: "My Lord, I seek protection by You from the devils` urges/suggestions .

And submit, "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils."

Repel evil by that which is best. We are best Aware of that which they allege.

And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils).

Repel evil with that which is best. We know best what they describe.

And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans;

And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones,

Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils.

And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans.

And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings of the Shayatin."

and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils.

And say, “My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the urgings of the devils.

And say; `My Lord, I seek protection in You from the promptings of devils, [from] their [evil] suggestions, which they whisper.

And say;"My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings of the Shayatin."

Allah commanded him to seek refuge with Him from the Shayatin, because no trick could help you against them and you cannot protect yourself by being kind to them.

We have already stated, when discussing Isti`adhah (seeking refuge), that the Messenger of Allah used to say,

أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ السَّمِيعِ الْعَلِيمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ مِنْ هَمْزِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِه

I seek refuge with Allah, the All-Hearing, All-Seeing, from the accursed Shayatin, from his whisperings, evil suggestions and insinuations.

His saying;

وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ
