Al-Mu'minun Verse 23

Indeed, We sent Noah to his people. He declared, “O my people! Worship Allah ˹alone˺. You have no god other than Him. Will you not then fear ˹Him˺?”

We sent Noah to his people. He said, “O my people, worship Allah; you have no god other than Him. Will you not then fear Him?”

And We sent Noah to his people; and he, said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other than He. Will you not be godfearing?"

We sent Noah to his people. He said, ‘My people, serve God, for He is your only god. Will you not heed Him?’

And assuredly We sent Nuh unto his people, and he said: O my people! worship Allah; for you there is no god but he; will ye not then fear Him!

(Further, We sent a long line of prophets for your instruction). We sent Noah to his people; He said, "O my people! worship Allah! Ye have no other god but Him. Will ye not fear (Him)?"

We sent Noah to his people, and he said: "My people! Serve Allah; you have no deity other than He. Do you have no fear?"

We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people, worship God, for you have no other god but He. Will you not take heed for yourselves?"

And indeed We sent Nooh towards his people – he therefore said, “O my people! Worship Allah, you do not have any other God except Him; so do you not fear?”

Certainly We sent Noah to his people, and he said, ‘O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other god besides Him. Will you not then be wary [of Him]?’

Indeed, We sent Noah to his people as Messenger, and he said: "O my people! Worship God alone: you have no deity other than Him. Will you not, then, keep from disobedience to Him in reverence for Him and piety?"

And We sent Noah to his people and he said, `O my people! worship Allâh alone. You have no God other than He. Will you not then guard against evil and seek (His) protection?´

And We had sent Noah to his nation, so he said: "You my nation, worship God, (there is) no God for you from other than Him, so do you not fear and obey?"

And indeed We sent Nooh towards his people - he therefore said, "O my people! Worship Allah, you do not have any other God except Him; so do you not fear?"

And on them and on ships you are carried.

And indeed We sent Nuh (Noah) to his people, and he said: "O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other Ilah (God) but Him (Islamic Monotheism). Will you not then be afraid (of Him i.e. of His Punishment because of worshipping others besides Him)?"

And on them and on the ships you are borne.

And certainly We sent Nuh to his people, and he said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; will you not then guard (against evil)?

And We verily sent Noah unto his folk, and he said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other Allah save Him. Will ye not ward off (evil)?

We sent Noah to his people who said, "My people, worship God for He is your only Lord. Will you then not have fear of Him?"

We sent Noah to his nation. 'Worship Allah, my nation' he said, 'for you have no god except He. Will you not be cautious'

And indeed We sent Nuh to his people, and he said: "O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other God but Him. Will you not then have Taqwa"

We sent Noah to his people, and he said, "My people, worship God; you have no other deity except Him. Will you not fear Him?"

We sent Noah to his people. He said, “O my people, worship God, you have no deity other than Him. Will you not take heed?”

And verily We sent Noah to his people, and he said, `O my people, worship God, obey God and affirm His Oneness. You have no [other] god besides Him (ghayruhu is the subject of m, `no'; the preceding [min ilhin, `god'] is the predicate, the min being extra). Will you not then fear?' His punishment in worshipping [gods] other than Him?

The Story of Nuh, Peace be upon Him; and his people

Allah tells;

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ

And indeed We sent Nuh to his people,

Allah tells us about Nuh, peace be upon him, whom He sent him to his people to warn them of the severe punishment of Allah and His severe vengeance on those who associated partners with Him, defied His commands and disbelieved His Messengers;

فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلَ تَتَّقُونَ



and he said;"O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other God but Him. Will you not then have Taqwa!'

Meaning, "Do you not fear Allah when you associate others in worship with Him
