يُّؤْتِى الْحِكْمَةَ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ ۚ وَمَنْ يُّؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ اُوْتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيْرًا ۗ وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ اِلَّآ اُولُوا الْاَلْبَابِ ( البقرة: ٢٦٩ )

He grants

ٱلْحِكْمَةَ
[the] wisdom

خَيْرًا

kathīran
كَثِيرًاۗ
abundant
wamā
وَمَا
And none
yadhakkaru
يَذَّكَّرُ
remembers
illā
إِلَّآ
except
ulū
أُو۟لُوا۟
those
l-albābi
ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
(of) understanding
Yu'til Hikmata mai yashaaa'; wa mai yutal Hikmata faqad ootiya khairan kaseeraa; wa maa yazzakkaru illaaa ulul albaab (al-Baq̈arah 2:269)
Sahih International:
He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 269)

He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever is given wisdom is certainly given a lot of good. Only the people of understanding observe the advice.
